ORRC 2018 Begins with 3 Winter Rallies
The 2018 ORRC season kicks off with 3 winter rallies in quick succession:
January Jaunt (Jan 13th)
Frostbite (Jan 27th)
Polar Bear (Feb 17th-18th)
Organized by TAC, the January Jaunt starts in Waterdown and explores the area West and South of Hamilton. This 6-hour tour should be a fun challenge for both experienced and new ralliests. Winter tires are recommended.
The Frostbite rally, organized by KWRC, runs the usual roads around Halton Region. No surprises, just the usual challenging hilly roads. Add snow to take it to the next level. Winter tires are highly recommended!
The MLRC Polar Bear rally returns with a trek around Bancroft on many of the roads used by the Rally of the Tall Pines. The only all-night event on the calendar is a test of endurance and winter driving skill. Winter tires are MANDATORY!!!
You can register online for January Jaunt and Frostbite using the RSO form. Online registration for Polar Bear can be done on the MLRC website.
See you out there. And remember to keep it shiny side up. Or maybe, “salt encrusted side up,” would be a better way of saying it.
